 TBF News Alert 01.18.08 2008 TN State Jr Bass Tourney -- 2008 TN State Jr Bass Tournament
Tournament Date : June 6-7, 2008
Registration forms can be found on the TBF website. Entries are due by May 26 and can be submitted electronically. Changes can be made at the pairings meeting Friday. Team rosters and completed entry forms must be submitted to the TBF Secretary for entry into any JBS 30 days prior to the tournament.
Eligibility: Any registered Junior Bass Club. Clubs have until May 1, 2008 to be eligible to fish. All members must have FLW membership to fish.
Each club can send 3 kids, ages 11-14, and 3 kids, ages 15-18. Age group is based on the child's age on August 31, 2008. Bring proof of age, (copy of birth certificate or government issued passport), along with completed liability waivers and medical form release to the Registration meeting.
Each team must supply one boat and one boat captain for every 2 kids entered. Location / Lake: Dayton, TN/Chickamauga Lake
Ramp: Dayton Boat Dock, Dayton, TN
Tournament times and information: Times TBA at the Tournament pairings meeting. The format is the same as previous tournaments; 12" rule in effect, all lengths recorded and fish released. NO FISH SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE WEIGH-IN. Total weight based on best 5 fish wins. All weights are determined by measurement and species. Each boat captain will have a conversion chart to determine the catch. A copy of the rules can be found on the TBF Website on the Junior Bass page (under construction).
