Sweet Sixteen — Announcing the New HDS Carbon 16
Lowrance Biggest Display Unveiled at Bassmaster Classic

We are pleased to announce HDS Carbon 16, a new addition to the HDS Carbon Series of fishfinder/chartplotters.

HDS Carbon 16 features an enormous 16-inch, high definition, multi-touch screen that showcases the amazing clarity, high resolution and superior target separation of the SolarMAX™ HD technology.

The 16-inch display is the biggest ever produced by Lowrance. Setting up a quad-panel split on the HDS Carbon 16 gives anglers the equivalent of four 7-inch screens on a single display.

The HDS Carbon 16 dual-core processor delivers faster redraws and response rates allowing anglers to quickly switch between applications and simultaneously view independent sonar feeds with ease -- smoothly driving high-tech Lowrance technology like StructureScan® 3D with SideScan and DownScan Imaging™, StructureMap™, Broadband Radar™, SiriusXM® Weather Chart Overlay™ and more.

Lowrance SolarMAX™ HD display technology features high-definition views and clear visibility in all conditions with the widest available range of viewing angles — even when wearing polarized sunglasses. The new displays are engineered to withstand higher temperatures than conventional units, offering enhanced reliability in warmer climates.

HDS Carbon combines award-winning Lowrance sonar technology with new Live Network Sonar, so users can view and control two independent, live sonar sources — like at the front and the back of the boat, for example — from a single display. Eliminating the need for separate displays, or alternating networked sonar sources on a single display, this powerful new feature provides anglers with a comprehensive picture below the boat with convenient and complete control.
