2008 entry dates: FLW Tour, FLW Series, Stren Series, BFL

BENTON, Ky. – FLW Outdoors, the world’s largest fishing-tournament organization, announced today the entry dates for its 2008 Wal-Mart FLW Tour, Wal-Mart FLW Series, Stren Series and Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League tournaments.

FLW Tour:
The top 100 pros and co-anglers from the 2007 FLW Tour season, the top 10 Stren Series pros and co-anglers in each division from the 2007 season and the boater and co-angler winners of the 2007 BFL All-American may register for the 2008 FLW Tour through Oct. 22. Ranger boat owners may register beginning Oct. 31, Champion and Stratos owners may register beginning Nov. 1, and TBF (The Bass Federation) members may register beginning Nov. 2. All other entries will be accepted beginning Nov. 5. Anglers who enter all six qualifying tournaments by Feb. 7, 2008, will be given priority over anglers who enter fewer than six events. The top 30 pros and co-anglers from each division of the 2007 FLW Series will also receive priority entry into the 2008 FLW Tour once their season is complete Oct. 27.

FLW Series:
The top 100 pros and co-anglers from each division of the 2007 FLW Series and the top 10 pros and co-anglers from each division of the 2007 Stren Series may register for the 2008 FLW Series through Oct. 23. Ranger boat owners may register beginning Nov. 6, Champion and Stratos owners may register beginning Nov. 7, and TBF members may register beginning Nov. 8. All other entries will be accepted beginning Nov. 9. Anglers who enter all four qualifying tournaments within an FLW Series division by Jan. 2, 2008, will be given priority over anglers who enter fewer than four events.

Stren Series:
The top 40 pros and co-anglers from each division of the 2007 Stren Series and the top 40 boaters and co-anglers from each division of the 2007 BFL may register for the 2008 Stren Series through Nov. 29. Ranger boat owners may register beginning Dec. 7, Champion and Stratos owners may register beginning Dec. 10, and TBF members may register beginning Dec. 11. All other entries will be accepted beginning Dec. 12. Anglers who enter all four qualifying tournaments within a Stren Series division will be given priority over anglers who enter fewer than four events.

BFL:
Entries for the 2008 BFL season will be accepted by division starting Dec. 3 for the Bama, Cowboy, Dixie, Everglades, Gator, Savannah River and South Carolina divisions. Dec. 4 starts registration for the Arkie, Bulldog, Choo Choo, Louisiana, Mountain, Music City and North Carolina divisions. Dec. 5 starts registration for the LBL, Mississippi, Okie, Ozark, Piedmont, Shenandoah and Volunteer divisions. Dec. 6 starts registration for the Buckeye, Empire, Great Lakes, Hoosier, Illini, Michigan and Northeast divisions. Boaters who enter with co-anglers and co-anglers who enter with boaters will receive entry priority.
